As the first point of contact for patients, you will create a welcoming environment in person and over the phone, ensuring smooth scheduling, registration, and billing processes.

Location: Brownsville Texas 

Job Type: Full-time Day shift (Hours may vary)

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist Brownsville patients in a friendly and professional manner (in person and via phone)
• Use proper phone etiquette and department scripting while handling calls
• Schedule patient appointments per department protocols to optimize provider time
• Accurately register patients, verify insurance, and collect co-pays/payments at time of service
• Prepare patient charts, manage referrals, and coordinate pre-authorizations
• Ensure smooth patient flow and administrative accuracy

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Previous experience in a medical office or billing department in Brownsville is preferred
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer systems
• Excellent typing and data entry skills
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
